You are known for telling tall tales, so I am skeptical to say the least. And furthuremoore, it was an unmeasured amount, so it could not be properly judged.
However, I will await Chris's version of the story.

all i can say is it was around 1/2 26er it might have bin a littel less i do not know for sertin i did not know i would have to difend it one day or i would have measured it

but i will point you back to the fact that he ran in the end and won and do go saying that it was a fals start any one would confuse car back fire as a gun shot and they both ran

But it WAS a false start, Duncan knew it wasn't the gun, and so should Jerry have. Jerry's win was tainted.

He should have, but it was mainly the ref's job to control the race. The ref didn't do his job, and Duncan just made a bad choice and tried to run.
