If we look at today's kids we notice that most of them live in a hyper-technological world, where social media reigns supreme , with their platforms becoming more than an outlet for their creativity. Here they can find new friends, create viral content and have fun. Some of these then decide to undertake real work as social creators , with the aim of earning money with their presence on the platform. This is how influencers are born , in the form of Instagramers, YouTubers or TikTokers, who invade the internet and platforms with their social posts. Furthermore, the first influencer house was born in Italy, if we want to call it that, that is, an all-Italian concept where young talents can blossom and become professionals: we are talking about Defhouse .
The location of Defhouse is located in DY Leads Milan and the aim is to cultivate young talents in the social sector. Here kids can learn and apply what they learn in the field, with endless possibilities for inspiration for their social content. But whose idea is Defhouse? As we learn from Forbes , Defhouse was born from an idea by Luca Casadei and Giuseppe Greco, signed by WSC, acronym for Web Stars Channel: “An inspired and aspirational house for the world of GenZ, interactive and with high technological content, studied in detail so that any space is stimulating for producing content. It is therefore not just a simple location, but a real 360° media that communicates with its own voice, through its own social profiles and those of its guests". The kids here are between 16 and 20 years old and were selected after reviewing hundreds of social profiles.
As Giuseppe Greco explains: “There are those who are gifted for dancing, those for singing, others for acting and so on. The choice was made not based on their popularity or the number of followers on social media, but because we saw in them a talent to cultivate and the ability to function as a group, to influence each other and give a higher value to the project" . The house of Defhouse: a hymn to creativity If we look at the Milanese house in which Defhouse is developed, this is represented by 500 square meters where the watchword remains design and creativity. In fact, here everything is developed and created in such a way as to stimulate the creative spirit of the inhabitants of the house. At the entrance there is a plexiglass panel with the social profiles of the tenants . Then we have a living room created in pop-art style.
