Well I'm bored and I got a good laugh out of reading the past fight card threads so I'm going to think up of some new match-ups.
First up "War of the Grease Monkeys" -Matt "the molester" McCullogh vs. Reijo "the Fisherman" Kosola
Next we have -"Killer" Korey Davis vs. Malachy Korpi
Now this next one has some history. If you recall graphics class when a fight between these two almost broke out. Thats right its -Kevin "Hacksaw" Hakamaki vs. "Postman" Pat Albanese
Next its the battle of the brothers - "Badass" Brendon Korhonen vs. "Deadly" Devon Korhanen
Now a fight at 125lbs - Brad "the Impaler" Pylypchuk vs. Nathen "Karate Master" Forsland
This one would be a good one to see. -Justin "Credible" Phair vs. James "The Juice" Gerow (Now I know Brad wants this fight for when Gerow tried to steal his magic card but the weight difference is to much so he'll have to rely on Justin to take him out.)
As for me -Chris "The Crippler" Funk vs. Darrell "Loose Cannon" Logan
What do you think the results of these battles would be? Any better match ups?

First of all, I really like the names. This card has some very good matchups on it. Lets see how some of these would go...First up "War of the Grease Monkeys" -Matt "the molester" McCullogh vs. Reijo "the Fisherman" Kosola Hmmmm, this is a tough one to pick. I think Reijo probably has the weight advantage still, but does he have the killer instinct? I think Reijo's pro wrestling history will give him the necessary knowledge to put Matt in a Crippler Crossface or something. Matt will take the fight all jokingly, and get caught with something, maybe a Hogan big boot. If not, Reijo will control him on the ground. Matt has a chance if he can get inside Reijo's head with some trash talk, and throw Reijo off his game plan.
I give Reijo the nod in this matchup. Reijo either by submission, or UD Next we have -"Killer" Korey Davis vs. Malachy Korpi Hmmm, this one is tough to call, simply because I have not seen either one of these fighters in quite some time. However, Malachy is an artist, not a cage fighter. I think this fight will come down to conditioning. Whoever comes in better shape and has more heart will take this bout. I simply cannot call this bout, yet may have to learn towards Malachy. He seems laid back enough, but when he's fighting for his next meal, he can be a vicious opponent. Malachy TKO 2:55 Rd 2Now this next one has some history. If you recall graphics class when a fight between these two almost broke out. Thats right its -Kevin "Hacksaw" Hakamaki vs. "Postman" Pat Albanese A good old fashioned grudge match. Kevin will likely come to the bout in better shape, but does he have the technical ability to lay a beating on the postman? What kind of shape is Pat in these days? Will Kevin's muscles cause him to gas early after trying to land a knockout blow? These are tough questions to answer. A big question is who wants this fight more? I think if Kevin comes in motivated, and has a good camp training him for the weeks leading up to the fight, Pat won't be able to survive the fury of the storm early on. Hacksaw by submission (strikes) 4:15 RD 2 [/b] Next its the battle of the brothers - "Badass" Brendon Korhonen vs. "Deadly" Devon Korhanen This fight is interesting because they have likely rumbled a few times previousely, and know eachothers moves/weaknesses. But I think Im gonna say "Badass" wins by split decision. Now a fight at 125lbs - Brad "the Impaler" Pylypchuk vs. Nathen "Karate Master" Forsland This will be an exciting match. I think I posess more MMA knowledge than Nathan, and that will give me the edge to pull off a submission. I don't think Nathan will be trying to go to the ground, he'll probably try to test his standup, and I'll go for a takedown. From there, I think Nathan will find himself in a rear naked choke as he tries to scrample off the ground. But you never know, Nathan is crafty and might come in with a good game plan. Or maybe he'll be too into drifting and street racing in his car, and not train hard for this bout.
Nevertheless, Impaler by Submission 4:59 Rd 1This one would be a good one to see. -Justin "Credible" Phair vs. James "The Juice" Gerow (Now I know Brad wants this fight for when Gerow tried to steal his magic card but the weight difference is to much so he'll have to rely on Justin to take him out.) Another interesting matchup. Both have some wrestling experience, however I think Gerow has the edge in that department. Gerow seems like he'd be an out of shape Matt Hughes, and will be looking to score a takedown and GnP a decision. I see Justin pulling off a flying knee somewhere in round 3 after being frustrated from Gerow trying his lay n pray for the first 2 rounds. After "The Juice" is dazed from the knee, he will be finished with strikes on the ground.
Justin "Credible" Phair by TKO strikes 0:35 RD3As for me -Chris "The Crippler" Funk vs. Darrell "Loose Cannon" Logan Nobody has seen the loose cannon in quite some time. But he seemed to be a formidable opponent. Seems like he might be into MMA as well, so its tough to say how this will play out. However, I think Logan will be looking for a standup war, and likely will not get one. The Crippler will manage a take down early on as Loose Canon goes for the patented knock out punch, and Logan will be in unknown territory. I see this ending with Logan being caught in a RNC. But if Logan does land that knock out punch.... It could be a short day for the Crippler.
Crippler by Rear naked choke 3:15 RD1What do you think the results of these battles would be? Any better match ups? [/quote]

Ok I"ll make some predictions for these fights. Matt "the molester" McCullogh vs. Reijo "the Fisherman" Kosola This could be a tough one Matt with his wild loopy style will be looking for the knockout while I'm afraid Reijo will try to pull off some pro-wrestling moves that don't work in a real life situation. It has happened before. And since the last time I had seen matt he has packed on a few extra pounds. I see this one ending when Matt hits him a couple time and Reijo tries to "Hulk up" but Matt just continues to hit him getting the KO late in the first round. Matt via KO 4:36 in the first
"Killer" Korey Davis vs. Malachy "The Artist" Korpi This fight is up in the air, it depends on who wants it moore. I believe Korpi has the skills but like what impaler said hes not a cage fighter, he doesn't have the killer instinct. With Davis its the opposite he has the killer instinct but his skills are lacking. So the pressure here will most likely come from korey but what I think will happen is The Artist will get painted into a corner and have no choice to explode. Malachy via TKO 4:43 in the 3rd round.
Kevin "Hacksaw" Hakamaki vs. "Postman" Pat Albanese
This one has been in the works since childhood. Two sworn enemies finally stepping in to battle. I remember it like it was yesterday. Pat walks past Kevin and delivers a mighty slap to the back of his head. Kevin shocked and full of rage chases him down and delivers a powerful shot to the shoulder of Pat then before it could go any further it was broken up. The two when back to their seats Kevin burning with rage and Pat laughing. So either Pat can take a power shot and not have it faze him or he was trying to cover up the pain. Now I"m not sure if Kevin has the rage he once did and his heart has been called into question before. I think this will be a back and forth battle going all 3 rounds. Pat via UD
Thats all for now I'll be back to make some moore predictions.

I have been waiting for a while for this. I thought I had the rage in me but when I compared it to PATS FATNESS I knew i'd lose. He would sumo me into hell. I'm just not core enough to push up 300+ lbs with resistance. Even though a fat man isn't really strong it eventually builds into muscle... Pat doesn't have a lot going in his life, so winning this fight would mean a lot to him. Losing it would lead him to suicide. He needs this. I'm content with my life although the rage would induce me into hating myself I just gotta accept it and be the better man. This win means nothing to me. Fuck it. I could own Pat with no problems, but I no longer have a reason to. He's worthless to me. I'm not ready to rumble with him. the person I really want to rumble with is you, Funk.
